Orchard Rub Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Dry Rub: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped RIND Orchard Blend (persimmons, peaches, red apples)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for the glaze)
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Pat the wings dry and toss with olive oil. Sprinkle the dry rub evenly over the wings and toss to coat.
  2. Place the wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet for maximum crispiness. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  3. While wings bake, prepare the glaze. In a saucepan, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, butter, garlic powder, lime juice, and finely chopped RIND Orchard Blend. Simmer on low until thick and glossy.
  4. Toss the hot wings in the warm glaze until fully coated.
  5. (Optional) Broil wings for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
