
Ingredients (cupcakes):
- 1 1/4 cup gf all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup organic cane sugar or granular monkfruit
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup refined coconut oil, melted and cooled
- 2 @palermoteacompany honey citrus tea bags steeped in 1 cup boiling water
- 1 egg room temp
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 packed tbsp orange zest (about 1 medium orange)
Ingredients (vanilla honey buttercream)
- 1/2 cup grass fed butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup arrowroot starch
- 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions (cupcakes);
- Brew your tea 5-10 min
- Whisk dry ingredients
- Combine sugar, honey, coconut oil, egg, vanilla, and zest. Then fold into dry
- Pour 1/3 cup of finished tea and combined again
- Bake 325 for 15 min
- Move to cooling rack
Instructions (buttercream):
- Use a standing or hand mixer to whip ingredients together until smooth
- Pipe onto cupcakes, top with more orange zest, and enjoy!
